Scrunchies
Fun cotton scrunchies, plant-dyed in Pakistan and sewn by refugee women at a Dallas nonprofit, VTC.
Care: Store your accessories in a pouch, sewn by VTC’s refugee sewers. Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Air dry.
Some of our hair accessories are also hand-blockprinted in Pakistan. Blockprinting is done by making prints on fabric by hand with the aid of carved wood blocks. This tradition is thousands of years old, preserved and practiced in Sindh region of Pakistan and other part of South Asia. Some print may be smudged, or dyes (especially black or indigo) may run a little, but will stabilize after a few washes.
