2021 Floral Designs

Aug 18, 2025

Last year, at City of Carrollton's CultureFest, one of our customers came to buy a blue floral hand-embroidered scrunchie-bandana for her mom as a Christmas gift.

We were out of stock :(

But since then, we began the hunt for a new reliable artisan partner whose team of artisans could provide the same quality of beautiful hand-embroidery work that our original partner in 2021 had provided :)

At that time, we had launched with beautiful hand-embroidered scrunchie bandana sets, in 4 designs and colorways -- cherry blossom, scattered floral, triangles, and another floral design.

These were adored by many in North Texas.

We are now working with a wonderful new artisan partner in Multan, Punjab, to bring those original beautifully designed hair accessories, in time for the holidays. These accessories were designed by our talented accessories designer, Kristin. (Kristin also models for us - frequently on social media and in above photo).

The new artisan group in Multan is headed by a woman master artisan Farhana. She oversees embroidery work with a team of a dozen women artisans.

We do hope to work more closely with Farhana to share her and her talented artisans' stories.

We've previously worked with other women's artisan groups in Punjab province and the City of Karachi, where Munira was born. We also work regularly with a 3rd generation hand-blockprinter in Bhit Shah, Sindh.

As for our CultureFest customer, she ended up buying a pink floral embroidered scrunchie bandana for her mom :)
